Fire Performance / Fire Dancing / Fire Arts

Mesmerie Entertainment fire performers have years of experience producing safe and spectacular fire shows! Fire dancers are perfect additions to your backyard luau, corporate cocktail hour, or arena event. All fire performers follow the North America Fire Arts Association (NAFAA) industry-standard safety procedures for safe performance indoors and outdoors. Expect visible safety and extinguishment equipment (including fire blanket and extinguisher) plus a non-performing fire safety spotter at every event.

Fire Safety

The fire safety spotter is a key member of any fire performance team - ALL insured fire performers in the U.S. are required to have a non-performing spotter on hand to address fuel spatter, enforce minimum audience distance, and keep their eyes on the lit performer. Fire performance equipment is checked for integrity before every act. Mesmerie Entertainment uses only equipment from reputable manufacturers (Synergy Flow Arts, Home of Poi, etc.) and flame effects are tested in rehearsal before any performance.

Insurance and Permits

All Mesmerie Entertainment fire performers carry industry-standard liability insurance specific to fire performance. Specialty Insurance Agency (New Richmond, WI) has been insuring performers since 1967 and is the gold standard in the U.S. for performing artists. Certificates naming you and your venue as an "Additional Insured" can be provided at no cost. Additionally, Katie Mesmerie holds a current permit from the City and County of Denver Fire Marshal, allowing her to perform within Denver at your venue without the need for an on-site fire marshal ($300/hr savings).
